The Hybrid Sulgi-Fondant Dressed Cakes

Meedo is the pioneer in modern dduk cakes. We are the first ones to apply the western method of covering cakes in fondant sheets for that smooth effect. Not only does this technique give a modern visual appeal to the traditionally rustic look of Korean dduk, but it is quite effective in keeping the dduk covered and moist for a longer period of time (traditional dduk is rarely covered and dries out quickly). The fondant also adds a sweet candy layer to the cake making it more palatable to modern consumers who are used to sweeter cakes.
